EVERYONE'S HAD A DAY WHERE THEY DON'T FEEL LIKE WORKING OUT OR LIKE THEIR WORKOUT WAS A WASTE. WELL...FIRST OFF, NO WORKOUT IS EVER A WASTE. YOU GOT SOMETHING DONE, AND BE PROUD! WITH SAID, THERE ARE FEW THINGS YOU CAN DO TO OPTIMIZE YOUR PERFORMANCE AND MAXIMIZE YOUR TIME SPENT IN THE GYM!

1. Go In With the Right Attitude
Approach your workout with a positive mindset. You are going to crush this workout and it's going to feel amazing! You are own competition. Outperform yourself.

2. Go In With A Goal
No matter what, you are going to do one thing better than your last workout. Whether it is one more rep, one more exercise, or 5 more lbs - set a goal that is specific and achievable.

3. Log Off
Put your phone down! Unless it's an emergency, no texting, no chatting, no social media, no distractions. Put on whatever music gets you going and do your thing!

4. Slow and Controlled Reps
Slow down your reps and focus on form - both essential for safety and results.

5. Prioritize Compound Lifts
Choose exercises that recruit multiple muscle groups, as these are the most likely to stimulate adaptations and body changes.

6. Seek Challenges
Step out of your comfort zone. Do a new exercise, try a new class, keep your body guessing.

7. Focus on you
Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone is on a different journey with different goals. No one is better than another. Compare yourself with who you were yesterday and how you will be better today in some way shape or form.

8. There is no bad workout
Reminder! Every workout is a workout, there is no bad one. The fact that you went in and trained (even if you may not have wanted to) you showed up - that's a win.
